Yes, there is a use for it; the Chinese pay fortunes for amber. It comes from the entrails of Sperm Whales, and smells like Musk, is grey (thus: gris), and they use it as perfume. When you'd find any, I know the right Chinese!!

LOL Skully...it's a waxy substance believed to be created in the sperm whale's intestines. It is used as a fixative in perfume...meaning it stops the perfume from evaporating too quickly.
Love is a many splendid thing and food runs a close second.
