I always thought this board ( or any board ) needed someone to say hello to new folks and give them a welcome.

It's difficult to start a conversation or ask questions when you are new.

Nygal, I'm having second thoughts about greeting new folks I was thinking that variety is the spice of life, so why aren't the new people posting anything? Maybe a greeting would bring some out of the woodwork a little earlier, but then again maybe not?
