Axeman, I am over 40 also... No big deal!! But when the celebrant feels like makin' love, she (or he) may really start to feel it.
And no, this person is not celebrating their birthday in Key West.

YOU know who you are..... (and I think the "other drink of choice" is just a plain old draft...)

I turned 40 like 3 times already. I survived the associated mid life crisis bullshit too!!
Then I woke up here..
The rest is gonna be a book someday

40 was not a problem, but 50 was a real bitch...

Well that rules NY Girl out...
Vicki...I was under the impression that mature women age like wine...they get better. That has been my experience....
I'm out of guesses...

40th birthday was difficult, walked around Mexico crying cause hubby would not agree to buy a beautiful white wool rug, for me.
Turning 40 you start to account for your self worth, and to count your blessings, not easy tho.

My daughter turned 42 last week.

Each birthday gets easier, the practise pays off.

50 you are mature enough, to count it fun, and fun will carry you thru. You are so happy you have good health and are still strong, you just laugh it away.

Just did 65 this month, and life is good, body health soul and good spirit have survived the years. Rather makes that 40th bad day a joke, but it was a necessary process, to reach this great age.

Grandson asked me if my wrinkles hurt, I laughed and said fortunately they don't son. He use to worry that I would die and leave him, but he now knows Gramma is alive and well and in for the long haul, with him.

Grandkids have invited me to do Springbreak 03 on South Padre Island Texas with them for Texas week, which is really rowdy. Can't wait.

Chloe,
That's so sweet... (and I love your 40th story!).
My 40th was the last one I'll have. My son gave me a magnet that says "Forty is the ultimate F-word", and he wrote on our whiteboard "Vicki is old- HAHA". For some reason, I never did erase that, and it's now one of my most prized possessions.

But come on you guys... Mar 6 is coming up SOON!!!! There are some pretty good hints out there..... Wonder what the birthday person will give up for Lent??? Maybe she (or he) should celebrate on Mardi Gras, even though that's a couple of days earlier.....

Cheerz,
Vicki

You should know Hope!! So, the big question is: did my clues help you at all????? Jane says I give HORRIBLE clues...
I know that at least one of you posted a picture last year that would be the clincher.

Hey Vicky you give great clues and I believe that this person was 19 1/2 US not BZ last birthday but who's counting. When they finally realize who it is they will see that your clues did make sense.
