40th birthday was difficult, walked around Mexico crying cause hubby would not agree to buy a beautiful white wool rug, for me.
Turning 40 you start to account for your self worth, and to count your blessings, not easy tho.
My daughter turned 42 last week.
Each birthday gets easier, the practise pays off.
50 you are mature enough, to count it fun, and fun will carry you thru. You are so happy you have good health and are still strong, you just laugh it away.
Just did 65 this month, and life is good, body health soul and good spirit have survived the years. Rather makes that 40th bad day a joke, but it was a necessary process, to reach this great age.
Grandson asked me if my wrinkles hurt, I laughed and said fortunately they don't son. He use to worry that I would die and leave him, but he now knows Gramma is alive and well and in for the long haul, with him.
Grandkids have invited me to do Springbreak 03 on South Padre Island Texas with them for Texas week, which is really rowdy. Can't wait.
