I have been lax in my promise to update the latest and was severely chastised by more than one! So....here goes.(1) hotel reservations must be made by May 6,2003 to obtain the favored rate, $65.95 for a room with two queen beds, $60.95 for a room with a king size bed. You must make the res. directly with the hotel and say it is for "The San Pedro Socail Club" or they will charge you out the gigi. Hotel: phone 936 588 3030 Fax 936 588 3027.
(2) Date june 7th. the boat trip will leave our headquarters (PAPA'S on the Lake) at 4:00pm and return at 6:00PM. cost for the boat $15.00 per head.
(3) BBQ dinner will be served around 7:00pm by none other than PAPA hisself. Cost for dinner $10.00 per head.
(4) To make it easy for all, (including me) you can send two (2) seperate checks, one made out to PAPA's $10.00 head and one for $15.00 made out to me as I have already taken care of the boat, and send both to me. Reservations and payment must be in no later than May 6th to guarentee you get fed and boated! There will be entertainment starting at 8:00pm.
(5) if it matters, there will be several "QUEENS" in attendance to grace our company as follows; Queen Dee, Queen Carol, Queen Judy and Queen Pamela. There might well be more, I'll let you know as their Royal schd. becomes available.
(6) Rick is getting the shirts/caps done up and he will report on his progress when he gets it.
(7) a note on the boat trip. Lake Conroe is controlled by the San Jacinto River Auth. and they do not allow any glass on the lake. Cans, Plastic glasses or other plastic containers O.K.
I will have pleanty of coolers packed with ice for beer or what ever,plastic cups etc. If you wish to bring booze, wine, mix's etc. just be sure you put it in plastic!

Misc.Please let me know when you make room res. so I can keep up and know how many room we have left in order for others to get the good rate too. I suggest you make your rooms ASAP.

Last thing (for today) if you are flying in the preffered airport is Bush Intercontinental. It is about a 1hr. 20 min. drive to the lake. Let me know your arrival times and we will make every effort to pick you up and deliver you to the lake. If you are driving from the north on IH 45, exit at Hwy 105 West in Conroe, Texas and drive 7.3 miles. Papa's is on the right side, big pink and green bldg. on the lake. If you are driving from the south, do the same damn thing. If you are coming from any other direction, stop and ask! Lake phone # 936-447-2500

I'm gonna partee but want to know what speed you are driving for it to take 1hr 20 min from IAH to Papa's? I can make it in 1hr. from downtown Houston!

IM, you have done such a fantastic job of organizing this, sounds like it is gonna be a party to end all parties. Will you put pics and all on a webpage? I sure would love to see the fun you guys had - especially the pics. Have a great time.
