just wanted to say the my husband called from austin this morning...he spent the evening with work colleagues checking out 6th street...and ended up at joes generic bar after awhile at the dueling piano bar...thought that was a hoot too!

he thought the whole scene was great...

of course he loves your nice warm weather...told him i could see my breath here this morning in upstate NY!

also saw the bats at sunset! cool!

he may never want to leave your city...he's staying at the raddison downtown and with an outdoor pool and 80 degrees out...why would he want to come back here? oh...for ME, i guess!!

If he's a college football fan, the Longhorns will be hosting Kansas State tomorrow. If he can swing a ticket, it should be a great game, and a beautiful day for football.

Your husband is a lucky stiff. I lived in Austin for years and miss it terribly. Both my children were born there. I'm glad he's enjoying himself. Maybe you can go on the next trip?
