we had a great thanksgiving. one lil problem, had it 95% cooked, and a vase was knocked off a high up shelf, it fell and shattered in the kitchen sink, and we got slivers of glass in EVERYTHING! except the turkey which was in the oven. had to throw it all away and start over. lost 20 pounds of peeled spuds, several gallons of gravy, salad, desserts, all the fixins for stuffing were all chopped up...
ouch.
made it again after a walk.... life is good

Hi Captain, I celebrated by staying true to my "low-carb" diet!! (It's about to kill me, no bread and no pasta-- but I guess it will be worth it...) I too miss all of my San Pedro buddies. They all got together at our neighbors house and had a huge dinner-- it's become a tradition. Butch had a nice visit with Jerry Jeff which was a huge surprise. Our new restaurant is FINALLY open, and our new chef has started. You'll have to come out for dinner in January! But I guess my biggest celebration was last night when my Seminoles beat Florida!! I can't even talk today. Love to you, Vicki

Hi Jeff, No, I missed all the good stuff-- but it will be worth it in the end (pun intended!) Our menu is considered "upscale Belizean". Lots of seafood, lots of ambiance. So far we've gotten nothing but high praises. I'm excited to get back and see the finished product. I arrive on Christmas Day and will be there for all of January. Will see you then!! Cheerz, Vicki
