I know that US citizens still have a tax burden when living as an expat. Do you know if that changes if you revoke citizenship? Do you know anyone who has or who might know first hand? I'm looking to move out of the States permanently, so I'm looking for info.

of course it changes - if you were not a citizen, nor a resident of any given country, you wold not be subject to any of it's laws. However, if your active income, and some forms of passive income is derived in said country, then you would be subject to the taxation laws.

If I were you, I would consult a tax attorney or CPA, not a message board.
