The Belize Audubon Society have announced that in connection with the
celebrations, it will offer free entrance on Sundays to all
Audubon-managed terrestrial
parks throughout this month. The parks include Guanacaste National Park
near Belmopan
at the junction of the Western and Hummingbird Highways, Blue Hole
National Park 12
miles from Belmopan on the Hummingbird Highway; Crooked Tree Wildlife
located off the Northern Highway 33 miles north of Belize City; and
Cockscomb Basin
Wildlife Sanctuary, the world’s first jaguar preserve, located off the
Southern Highway at
Maya Centre 16 miles south of Dangriga Town. All the parks have
visitors’ centres with a
variety of information and displays. People can visit any of these
parks on any Sunday in
September for free
