Please, if you havent already, check out my posting under other parts of Belize. I am looking for anyone who has been ( or knows someone who has been) to Gales Point. I will be staying there in May...unexpectedly!

Also I will be going on the medical clinic trips to the rural parts of Toledo( southern Belize) again like I did last year. It was amazing! If you would like to learn more they have a web site and they accept donations to purchase things such as foot wear, glasses, medications, vitamins and other items that are distributed to those in need during the clinics. Well worth it, I think!

It is a tax deductable organization recognized by the IRS. Donations can be mailed to:

Bruce McNellie
Project Belize, Inc.
5922 Princess Lane
Nacogdoches, TX 75961

More info is available at the website:

(If you scroll down the web page to the first picture-a packing party- click above it on the Project Belize-2003 link and then scroll down to the third photo (#2 pic doesnt show) and that's me in the blue shirt sitting with some kids on a dock at the Blue Creek Lodge in Toledo-after a long day of clinics.)

Smiles :p cool

Hey Sarah! Good to see you post. I read the one on Gale's Point, sounds like an adventure to me! Guess things are still good for you in all ways. It's great that you are still doing good work for the people of Belize. Good luck on your next journey, and with your good friend/boyfriend/policeman......or whatever we are calling him! wink
