trying to reach sanpedro ,by telephone getting a busy signal ?????? from 3pm to 6pm whats the deal ??got thru to belize city but not town ???

I've been trying to phone Belize city as well as the Island for about 3 days now. No luck.

There was a heavy electrical storm last week that hit the tower on the island and burned out the cable between SP and BC. Phones work sometimes. Cell phones work OK.

I called a San Pedro residence on Sunday night without a problem. It seemed that the connection was worse than usual though. They didn't mention anything to me about phone problems on the island.

Phone problems on the Island??? Gee that sounds familiar.
Or from BTL- Phone problems? What Phone problems?
