Hey there guys! Our next trip is booked and we are going to stay on Caye Caulker at the Iguana Reef Inn.

I know several on this board live on Caye Caulker and others have been there. What can you tell me? And what do you think about Caye Caulker.

We had actually already booked tickets before we decided where exactly we were going to stay so we will be taking a taxi over from SP. I hear that the landing strip will be fixed by then but we won't be using it. Silly how stuff happens!

Anywhooooo tell me what cha thinkin' on that one.

I have never been to CC. It is laid back like SP? Are the people as nice? What is the beach at the river? Can you see the reef from CC?

Questions Questions....... smile

After a few glasses of wine, I will attempt to answer your questions from our experience... I believe you can see the reef from CC and the people although nice and very laid back were slightly different as a whole from AC. Cant put my finger on it. Maybe not quite as trained in tourism??? I did however love the island and would return over & over again. I was especially impressed with the hopsitality of Rasta Pasta. Dont forget to visit "The Split" and hang out at The Lazy Lizard". Rent a bike & tour the island. Enjoy~Lori cool

Thanks for the info! I was told the last taxi to CC leaves SP at 4:30. Is this the case?

CC has Belikin, thereby making it superior to all of Europe and Asia and most of the Americas.

Gay - how would one have a night out in SP if the last water taxi leaves for CC at 4:30? Please let me know because we REALLY want to eat at Casa Picasso!!!!!!!!!!!! But don't want to be stuck sleeping on the beach in SP that night!!! Is a taxi for hire by chance that will take us back home to CC? confused
