I just returned from a week in Ambergris Caye. Had a great time except someone removed my cash from my wallet. Beware! Take you cash with you everywhere you go.

Not gonna touch that on a bet.

LOL, badone, when I'm in AC, I take my wallet with me and I'm the one removing my cash, everywhere I go.

I never leave my cash or wallet for that matter, anywhere except on me. And my cash is never in my wallet.

did your room have a safe in it?

To go a little further:

A) did your room have a safe in it?
B) Was your cash in your wallet and in the safe?

If no safe was provided many hotels offer to take your valuables and put them into their office safes for security.

Denny is right, carry your cash, but not in your wallet or purse, get a money belt!, stick your key in your pocket, leave some odds and ends in your wallet or purse, like nasty little notes and really old chewing gum and the day before you leave, leave it at a bar, sit back and observe, of course not right next to it (just to bad that you don't get to see the look on the face of the wallet/purse snatcher, when he/she gets a nice little sticky surprise). Don't leave money on any bar and hand your tip to the bartender! There are some really fast fingers around here. Really fast! And try to carry small bills, no "blues" ($100BZE).And lock your bicycle! :rolleyes:
