Greetings to all in the Ambergris Caye forum.
After some research, I'm leaning on a trip to Ambergris Caye and Placencia late this month (Oct). Just wondering if being on the edge of low season, are the conditions nice. How Bout those nasty little mosquitos?

Wouldn't mind some advice on where to hang out around San Pedro and Placencia as well.

Actually, October is pretty nice. the really hot weather is gone, mosquitos are off hibernating, and for all intents and purposes the rainy season has moved on...

It's mid-October and the mosquitos are INTENSE!
Hope they start hibernating soon...
