If you read the Houston Chronicle you may have already read this. It is from Leon Hales column and I thought it was cute:

'Finally, here's a note from Beverly Kelly, who lives in Conroe. She writes that when her father was 90, he planted some pecan trees. When asked why, he said, "So I'll have pecans when I get old." '

sounds like dementia to me
