Had a great stay at the Caves Branch Jungle Lodge last week...and a fantastic Cave Tubing tour with Mario, one of the great guides there. Food was excellent, the company was great, the overall experience was a "must do" and I should have done it a long time ago!

Chris, why is it that I cannot picture you cave tubing.

You will definitely see bugs there. Hopefully they will not crawl on you at night! They did not crawl on me when I stayed there. But they were crawling around elsewhere! It is rustic but awesome & wild! No electricity.

Pica pica (not at caves branch!) is a type of jellyfish that stings. Do a search about it - lots of info about it and preventatives & "remedies."

The accommodations that feature private baths are downright cushy. You will hear the bugs singing at night and the birds singing in the morning - relax it's wonderful.
