AmbergrisCaye.com Home Forums Belize by District Stann Creek New hotel in Placencia?

Anyone have any scoop on this hotel? I figure if anyone knows about it you all do. They say they will be open by Oct 1....anyone seen it...web site doesn't have photo's just renderings.

I stopped by there in July. At that time, the main construction was more or less complete, but the finishing, furnishings, etc were still being worked on. It's way north on the peninsula, next door to Calico Jack's. It's a timeshare/condo kind of place. I guess it will be okay, but it didn't appeal to me very much.
