Itch itch scrath scratch! Aghhhh frown

Haven't done our trip report cuz ..
We've been back 4 days now and have these bites that are driving me nuts! Started the day after we got back, (itch itch SCRATCH .. slap hands, no scratching!). Spent the last 5 days in Hopkins (loved it!) and had some sandfleas to deal with, BUT the Deep Woods Off kept 'em at bay and only got a couple of bites around the ankles. Then, the last day there, I spray up the ole legs from the knees down, and off to the water I go. Tra la la la la, but then stop to talk, sit on this big ole hunk of drift wood, kinda side saddle cuz the person is on my left. That left an area the size of my palm, not sprayed or being "sat upon" and all I know is that now I have about 30 bites in an area on the back of my right thigh. Not a happy camper, saw MD, got allergy Rx, and told me to wait 7-10 days and it should be better.

Now having said that, would pack my bags and go back tomorrow ifin we could. laugh

Trip report to follow as soon as I can type without wanting to scrath the itch -aghhhh!!!!! mad

at least the itching waited until you got back.

We will be waiting to read your full report WBT, I'm sure it will be a good one.

wannaBEthere what you might need is some antihestamine tablets to stop the itch. Once you can get to stop scratch, then the bite will heal.

See, here we can just go to the pharmacy and but it, don't know if it's the same there.

As a prevention the next time before you go on holiday and even during the holiday, take Vitamin B tablets daily, it works.

My sister-inlaw reacts to bites very easily and this is what she uses
