***Best Boutique Hotels- #1 "The Great House", Belize City
***Best Bar - #4 Fido's - Ambergris Caye
***Best Adventure Destination #1 Belize
***Best Dive Destination - #4 Belize
***Best Snorkel Destination - #4 Belize
*** Best Eco-Resort - #2 Lodge at Chaa Creek, Cayo
Belize did not place in (are we sad, I DON'T THINK SO): All-Inclusives, Mega Resorts, Large Hotels, Shoppinbg, Duty Free Stores, Resort Golf Courses, and some other who-gives-a-hoot categories
Ratings based not upon yuppified, pampered editorial staffers, but by everyday travelers like us. So gang, whatcha think...did they get it right?

 yep, me too! Chloe you have been yearning too to go back I'm sure, any plans for the future? It seems like forever that you been to the Island. You would just flip if ya saw Jan's place these days! OH MY, talk about a change!

Hope, the pictures of Cannibal's are great with change. Love that place. Good posts about the bartender and entertainment, now and then.
Hard to travel with a terminally ill husband, my place is home now. But I keep up on San Pedro and Belize, because it passes my time while at home, doing what needs to be done, with love and compassion.
God willing and the creek doesn't rise, Chloe will return to see the fishes of the sea.

Thank God they didn't win in catagories All-Inclusives, Mega Resorts, Large Hotels, Shoppinbg, Duty Free Stores, or Resort Golf Courses! These are the things that are ruining other favorite islands for me - I get the feeling I'm gonna like Belize...

Just out of curiosity, what were the top 3 snorkeling destinations? I've been to a few places, and I'm here to say that Belize was #1 in my book!
