I was joking..............So are some customs down there we should know about

I'll be coming to Belize in December, and I'm thinking of staying in Placencia, or Belmopan for the first three nights of my stay. I want to go to Tikal for an overnight, and then I'll be staying with friends in a timeshare for four nights on Ambergris. What's the weather like at that time of year? I know it's cool at night, but do I need to worry about a lot of rain? Do I need more than one book to read in case of inclement weather?
