Not that I don't enjoy hearing about all the wonderful "watering holes" on AC... This girl has been there and done that. I hope there might be an AA meeting on your wonderful island that will help keep me serene while enjoying my stay on AC. Please let me know where I can find "my people" to hang out with. I would love to hear the experience, strength & hope that lives on AC. Much Thanks, Pam
There is an open meeting every Tuesday at noon at the rectory of the Catholic Church. This is in the middle of town on Front Street. Someone is always there. We have a nice little group with a lot of long-term sobriety.
Down in the Boca Del Rio Area there is a place called the clubhouse where they hold bi-lingual meetings on Tues., Thurs. & Sat. night. Unfortunately there is not always some one there to unlock the door. It is best to make a connection in town to be sure before you go. I'm not even certain of the time, but it is after dark.
There is a closed meeting on Friday night at 5:00 you will have to call for directions. You can get my phone number from Steve at Coconet Internet. I'll be back on the island Oct. 27th. I look forward to meeting you.
Jesse - thanks for your efforts. I know that any sober member of AA will find a meeting when they need one. BTW - we have what we call "instant meeting." Just call and we'll get together. I don't list phone numbers here as we have too many nut cases surf our pages.
Jesse & ScubaLdy - Thank you so much for your help. Yes, if you really need a meeting, you can usually find one. I just didn't want to be walking around AC looking for friends of Bill W. You are the BEST! Pam
