Has anyone done a combo with both resorts? Any tips would be appreciated. We will be doing 3 days at Blancaneaux and plan to go to Caracol and want to see Big Rock Falls. At Turtle Inn 5 days and we will do some snorkling and probably Monkey River.
How did they transport you from Belize City to Blancaneaux? Did you have a long layover waiting for transportation?
Is Big Rock Falls within an easy bike ride from Blancanaeux? And was Caracol an easy trip to arrange?

This is our 2nd trip to Belize, but we spendt the entire week at Ambergris Caye

Plenty people stay at both, great combo. 3 days won't be enough to do all there is in this area, but Caracol is a wonderful day trip easily arrange right from BL. Big Rock Falls is walking, biking or horseback riding distance from BL. Lots of people really enjoy canoeing into Barton Creek Cave, that takes a few hrs and you can do that en route to or from BL. You can drive ( 2 plus hrs) or fly into BL private airstrip from Intl or Placencia (driving time between the two would be about 3.5 hrs). Monkey River is also a great trip to do from Placencia.

Blancaneaux has ti's own little airplane. You can probably arrange to fly directly between the two resorts.

Blancaneaux's plane is extremely expensive (private charter prices) so unless you're dripping with money you fly/drive between the two places.

My wife and I did enjoyed this package last year at this time and there isn't a day that goes by that we don't think about it. It is amazing. We were picked in a ford Explorer at the airport and were driven to the resort. We were given a nice history of the area during the drive. The plane is not necessary.
