Just a thought. Should business owners or employees of businesses on the island be required to disclose their affiliation in their profiles if they are going to post on the board?

I think it's only fair to the tourists to know who they are getting their information from.

Don't want us to become another TRIP ADVISOR.

Absolutely and also this should be in the ambergriscaye section-I guarantee everybody knows which businesses I own, and I do not according to board rules promote them (well not much anyway)-

I think so. It's only fair that readers know the angle the poster is posting from.

I agree with Pedro1. It is unfair for a tourist, new to this board, to think that an opinion is a fellow traveler when he really a business owner. Everyone on this board should be open and honest about who they are.

I absolutely agree Simon. People can be duped by business owners pretending to by just your average poster.

And, just to show you how honest and forthright I am...

You too can win a Thong! How you ask?

....if these posts are to be taken as gospel, the viewer needs more help than just knowing who is posting and who the poster is affiliated with.

It's all just a big digital buffet.

OK, OK, me first: I'm a friend and a relative and an employee (and past employer) of several businesses and also a friend of land owner's and condo owner's and timeshare owner's and timeshare salespeople on this island.

I'm so glad I cleared things up.
