Boy, you can say that again. Great trip report. I read every word in every line. Hoping to pick up some tips. Reminds me. I must keep a journal when we go so we can share some of our experiences too! What to go.

What a trip report, love the detailed writings.
You guys enjoyed every moment.
Question...flight flipped?
You sure met up with some real characters.
Could not finish the report tonight, but will pick up again tomorrow, on the 24th.

OWO - I think she might refer to that Tropic flight that dlipped at Muni during that freakish early March wind shift in storm

There was some great stuff, but all in all it annoyed the hell out of me! Go on vacation Easter week and expect no families? I cannot stand screaming children when on vacation but its pretty easy to plan around them.

Every comment about her upset about how other vacationers were treating locals was counterbalanced by an obnoxious comment about locals!

Anything that was outside her realm of understanding or experience was "weird."

And, as a snorkeler, who has spent a lot of time on dive boats with divers - I've never experienced this! Sure, they tell you not to sit where the tanks are set up, but this makes sense - and they don't bring you on the boat if there isn't room. The divers I was with last year at Lighthouse Reef were jealous when they saw my underwater pictures!

Evening: I do the same - avoid heavy vacation weeks with kids and families - not knocking it at all - just not my thing. When we were in Placencia just 2 weeks ago, our experience was completely opposite. Quiet, serene, beaches and no kids!
