How long do easter eggs last in the fridge? I'm in the mood for some egg salad...

Law, believe it or not but this is true. Crack one open. If it smells like chicken throw away. If it smells like egg it is fine. 30 day max on cooked egg.

The last article in a well known cooking mag. said that fresh eggs last a long, long time if refridgerated! Like maybe months,it said up to a year!! The effects would vary with regard to freshness. I personally have kept them for 6 months without problems. May depend on the temp too. So it probably stands to reason that boiled eggs would last that long ,or longer. eek
Baluts, haven't heard of them since my brief stay in the Phillipines, long, long ago! And they suck by the way! If you can get them past your nose!

I should have said Hard boiled eggs 30 day max. Not egg salad, give one week max

I just polished off the last 2 deviled eggs from Easter Sunday today! I'm still writing so it can't be too bad!
Think the article i read was in a past issue of "Cooks Illustrated". Go online and do a search.
