My husband and I travel throughout the carribean but have never had the pleasure of traveling to
AC. We will be there from the 10th to the 17th of December. How is the weather then and what about the mosquitos that time of year. We will be staying at Cayo Espanto.

Thanks for your replies.

Weather should be very nice. Mosquitos aren't allowed anywhere near Cayo Espanto.

lol! Mosquitos usually aren't too bad that time of year. We often get 'cold fronts' blowing in that time of year which can sometimes bring rain but the temps should still be around mid-high 80s during the day with lows in the 70s.

Thanks for the replies. However it looks like I won't be returning to Georgia with a tropical tan or will I? Oh well I'll at least be relaxed.

Better bring the sunscreen. Have been on the island the last two Decembers and there is much more sun than shade. Anytime on the island is perfect. Enjoy. Your friends will be mighty jealous upon your return to Georgia!

Thank you ambergrishog. It helps my feelings to know that the weather should cooperate. Of course I don't mind a little rain but hate to loose out on the snorkling and the great bone fishing. After booking the trip I started reading alot about the December weather and wondered if we had booked at the right time of the year. Especially for such a costly trip.

Thanks again!!!
