We have had 13&1/2 inches the last 7 days 25 miles SW of Houston, 8&1/2 the last 2 days!

the tide is high, but we're holding on, , , ,

it was a challenge getting home from work. mister york was trapped 'til about 8 at his shop.
then we had to go check on his new boat. it was several feet deep at the marina. he wanted to wade in but i refused. someone in a hummer took him in. all looked in good shape.
he actually had to remove the top from the whaler in our boat house at home to raise it up or it would be gone today.
tides were 5' high. i wouldn't trade it for a minute to live inland.

omg... that's terrible i hope no here has any water damage!! i've seen how terrible those can get...

my grandparents place used to flood lots when it poured for days!! hope thats not the same case for u guys!!! frown
