You all have been so helpful... Here's one more.

We tend to be equal opportunity cocktailers, but we do like to whip out a good red for dinner from time to time. Anywhere on the island that has a decent selection of decent wines?

Wine de Vine! Pretty good cheese selection also! I know there is another place, but the name escapes me at the moment.

Another vote for Premium Wine and Spirits...just past the Aqua Marina. If you go to both, and I assume you are reasonably discriminating, you will note quite a difference in selection...and don't forget the case discount. smile

Wine Devine does not carry US wines as I recall. I ventured up to Premium Wine and Spirits and found a nice California wine to bring to friends for dinner. I will agree that wine devine has great imported cheeses.

I find Bali Hai pairs well with Velveeta.

I must agree, Chef: there is nothing more pleasing to my palette than a good bottle of red wine (well, maybe tequila) with a fine dinner - that is why I bring my own!
