TODAY'S FORECAST

A weak cold front has become stationary and will
dissipate over the Yucatan Peninsula and offshore
waters Belize. and over the Western Caribbean sea.

Ambergris Caye, San Pedro and Caye Caulker will
experience for the next 24 hrs:

Mostly sunny today with cloudy breaks and isolated
showers and mainly fair tonight. Midday Temperatures
will reach around mid 80 degrees F. Winds will be
light and variable at first then will become North
easterly at 5 to 15 Kts after mid morning. The sea
state will be smooth to light chop.

The outlook is for mostly sunny weather and isolated
showers through late Friday.

SATELLITE DERIVED WIND DATA FROM 11/0600 UTC SHOW
GENERAL WESTERLY FLOW...AWAY FROM THE AREA IN THE
NORTHWESTERN CORNER.

STRONGER WINDS ASSOCIATED WITH AN APPROACHING FRONT
WILL ENTER THE NORTHWESTERN PART LATE SATURDAY AND
PROGRESS OVER MOST OF THE WESTERN CARIBBEAN BY LATE
SUNDAY.

Central Caribbean:

BROKEN TO OVERCAST MULTILAYERED CLOUDS AND ISOLATED TO
WIDELY SCATTERED MODERATE SHOWERS AND POSSIBLE
THUNDERSTORMS ARE FOUND NORTHWEST OF A LINE FROM THE
SOUTHERN BORDER OF HAITI/THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC TO THE
BORDER OF EASTERN HONDURAS/NORTHEASTERN NICARAGUA.

Eastern Caribbean:

MIDDLE TO UPPER LEVEL DRY AIR COVERS THE CARIBBEAN
WATERS SOUTH OF 17N.

STRONG TRADES OVER THE EASTERN CARIBBEAN AND
SOUTHWESTERN PART NEAR COLOMBIA WILL WEAKEN TO NEAR
NORMAL FRIDAY THROUGH SUNDAY.
