TODAY'S WEATHER

Cloudy to overcast skies and unstable conditions will
produce occasional showers over Belize and the Western
Caribbean. Unstable conditions are also affecting
Central America and Western Cuba.

Ambergris Caye, San Pedro and Caye Caulker will
experience for the next 24 hrs:

Cloudy skies today and tonight and isolated showers
during the late afternoon and early morning

The highest temperature will be near 86 degrees F
after midday.

Today's winds will be East southeasterly at 5 to
16Kts.

The sea state will be light chop. Seas will be 4 to 6
feet beyond the reef.

The outlook is for partly cloudy and showery weather
through Thursday.

will develop during late afternoon and early morning.

thundershowers over Belize, as the wave moves into
Guatemala ands Southern Yucatan. Unstable conditions
are also similarly affecting Central America and
Western Cuba.

Ambergris Caye, San Pedro and Caye Caulker will
experience for the next 24 hrs:

Cloudy to overcast skies today and tonight. Scattered
showers and thundershowers will develop today.

The highest temperature will be near 82 degrees F
after midday.

Today's winds will be variable at times but mainly
Easterly at 10 to 20Kts with higher gusts in
thundershowers.

The sea state will be choppy. Seas will be 4 to 6
feet beyond the reef.

**SMALL CRAFT OPERATORS ARE ADVISED TO EXERCISE
CAUTION DUE TO GUSTY WINDS AND MODERATE TO ROUGH SEAS

THE YUCATAN PENINSULA SURFACE TROUGH IS NOT AS OBVIOUS
NOW AS IT WAS DURING THE PAST 6 HOURS.

SCATTERED MODERATE TO ISOLATED STRONG SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS HAS DEVELOPED FROM THE GULF OF HONDURAS
AND MOVED NORTHWESTWARD AND NOW ARE INLAND IN BELIZE
AND PARTS OF THE SOUTHEASTERN YUCATAN PENINSULA.

A TROPICAL WAVE IS ALONG 79W/80W SOUTH OF 10N.

ISOLATED MODERATE SHOWERS ARE WITHIN 15 NM TO 20 NM ON
EITHER SIDE OF 10N80W 12N82W. OTHER PRECIPITATION IS
SOUTH OF PANAMA...JUST WEST OF COLOMBIA...IN THE
PACIFIC OCEAN WATERS. BROKEN TO OVERCAST MULTILAYERED
CLOUDS AND POSSIBLE PRECIPITATION FROM 8N TO 10N
BETWEEN 75W AND 80W.

ENHANCED SELY BREEZES IS FORECAST TO CONTINUE ALONG
THE COAST
OF BELIZE.


Central & Eastern Caribbean:

MIDDLE TO UPPER LEVEL ANTICYCLONIC CIRCULATION CENTER
IS IN THE NORTHEASTERN CORNER OF THE AREA NEAR 19N63W.
BROAD MIDDLE TO UPPER LEVEL ANTICYCLONIC FLOW COVERS
THE CARIBBEAN SEA.

ATLC RIDGE IS CONTRIBUTING TO A FAIRLY STRONG PRES
GRADIENT OVER THE SOUTH CENTRAL CARIBBEAN. THIS IS
PRODUCING ELY TRADES 20-25 KT...WITH THE STRONGEST
ALONG THE COAST OF NW VENEZUELA AND NE COLOMBIA.

ELSEWHERE OVER THE CARIBBEAN AND TROPICAL
ATLC...TRADES GENERALLY AROUND 15 KT. AND WILL CHANGE
LITTLE THROUGHOUT THE FORECAST PERIOD.

BETWEEN 76W AND 79W INCLUDING IN THE GULF OF URABA AND

NUMEROUS STRONG ITCZ-RELATED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
ARE FOUND IN NORTHWESTERN COLOMBIA FROM 7N TO 10N
BETWEEN 71W AND 78W. THE CLOUD TOP TEMPERATURES HAVE
BEEN WARMING DURING THE LAST FEW HOURS IN THE
NORTHWESTERN PART OF THE CLOUD MASSES.

Central & Eastern Caribbean:

MIDDLE TO UPPER LEVEL DRY AIR COVERS MOST OF THE AREA.
HIGH CLOUDS ARE NORTH OF 16N BETWEEN HAITI AND THE
VIRGIN ISLANDS ON THE EASTERN SIDE OF THE MIDDLE TO
UPPER LEVEL TROUGH.

BROKEN TO OVERCAST MULTILAYERED CLOUDS ARE SOUTH OF
