hi there!
I am a Japanese passport holder travelling from USA to Belize for the month of January.
When I checked on the internet they all said that the Japanese citizens did not need a VISA to enter Belize! But just today I heard that we need one!! tell me, someone, what is the truth??

i travel back and forth frequently. before i got residency i did not need a visa but you can only stay 30 days without going to immigrations for an extension for another 30 days. i am a us citizen so don't know if your situation is different. call the japanese consulates offiec in the states wherever you are. they shoudl be able to tell you. you are going to love belize!!! enjoy.

US Citizens should not assume that other nationalities are granted the same easy entry. Citizens of certain countries must go through pre-arrival visa applications and approvals. You should find out what is required for YOUR country. The advice to contact Immigration IN BELIZE is the best. You can call them at: 501-8-22611 / 22423.
