Hi my name is Shana I am 25 and I am trying to make some contacts before I move out to Ambergris. I want and need to work whene I get there so I was wondering if anyone knew of a job or a good place to look. I have worked at two residential homes for at risk youth and have been a tutor and a activities coordinator for a camp. I do very well with all types of people young and old, and am quite open and adaptable. I love the out doors, dogs, arts and crafts, history, culture and want to contribute. I try to live inunison with my surroundings.

Or just get a stiff board and slide it up inside one of the palapa's in esmeralda park, hop up there and nobody gonna know you're there sleeping. Enjoy!

Hi Shana- in case you don't know, you must live in Belize for a year vefore you can legally work. Unemployment amongst native Belizeans is high and there are laws to protect Belizeans' right to jobs. They say if you want to make a small fortune in Belize you need to bring a large one down. Your tourist visa clearly states that you may not work while visiting and if you do you may be asked to leave the country. It's a serious violation- my advice is to bring enough money to live off while you're here. Belize can't accomodate all the people who want to move there & make a living. Try searching through old posts, there's a lot of them on this topic!
