An interested in leaving Ambergris Caye and spending a few days in the Mountain Pine Ridge area. I really want to see as much of the waterfalls as possible. Does anyone have any advice on the best place to stay, to see the most w/o having to travel alot to see them? Any info would be much appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

3 inns in the MPR, Five Sisters has a pretty waterfall, Hidden Valley Inn has at least 7 huge waterfalls on property, but for guests only. Big Rock Falls on the Privassion Creek between Blancaneaux Lodge (they have a mini falls) and Five Sisters. 1000 ft Falls (actually 16oo ft) borders HVI property. But hundreds of very dramatic falls in the reserve, incredible.

On a budget, there is also the Pine Ridge Lodge but no waterfalls on site. Close to the other inns though and much less expensive (much more basic accommodations/amenities as well).

Thanks so much for the info, will check it all out. We've never been anywhere except AC and I want to see the waterfalls. Guess I'm a waterfall freak, every fall we go to Upper Michigan and run around to see as many of the falls as we can in a weekend! lol

Five Sisters has a gorgeous location and is close to lots of stuff in the MPR, especially Five Sisters Falls and Big Rock Falls. You can climb around and swim to both. Beware of the food at Five Sisters, however. We found it to be overpriced and overcooked. Try pizza at Blancaneux.
