Do keep in mind that although the QRP program has been in effect since 1999, there are only about 200 participants in it.

That might tell you something.

www.belizeretirement.org is worthwhile, but don't believe everything you read.

I've only written three books on retiring/living in Belize (latest one coming out from Avalon later this spring is Living Abroad in Belize), and interviewed some 200 expats on the subject, so I'm still just a novice.
