One of the interesting news stories this week is:
Elections & Boundaries Commission will be on Caye Caulker on July 16th.
The Elections and Boundaries Commission, the body responsible for registering new voters and transferring voters will be on Caye Caulker on Sunday, July 16th.
There are only two months of the year when transfers of voters from one divison to another is allowed and these months are July and August yearly.
First time registrants will require one of three sets of paperwork. This would be either:
a) A birth certificate together with a photo ID
b) A Belizean passport
c) A Nationality Certificate
Transferees should have a photo ID handy.
Registration of new voters and transfers will take place at the Community Center during the day.
