This is for the general compliants of the Royal Palm Community, please post in with your compliants.

The newest thing today, is Daytime Security. You might think this is a good thing, but this isnt really security, its "The publicly funded, private petty rule enforcement, for certain persons." I dont Believe that somone can use our money to enforce thier own petty anoyances around the compound, to make their own socialist society as self proclamed Monarchs with No royal decent and make up rules without consent nor majority. If this is what goes in San Pedro and is accepted as regular activites, we really need some better entertainment. What happend to Democracy?? What happend to linching? Get the pitch forks, grab your torches, and for Gods sake, "Dont Go On the Dock at Night!" (Private Joke)

How funny you should bring this up. I live at the Royal Palms too and are well aware of the 'petty rule enforcement' you are talking about. As far as I can tell, there are a couple of people here who have no authority but who try to tell everyone who lives here how to live their lives. Of course them and their friends are exempt. Your private joke ain't no joke either. Security have told me that I am not allowed to be on the dock at night and neither is anyone else who lives at Royal Palms. And if you are thinking of renting for a vacation, keep in mind that tenants are not allowed to have guests at the pool (unless you are a tenant who is friends with these people). Some people have had the security guards threaten them with fines becuase they put their beach towl out to dry. I cant believe the Homeowners Association wont do something about these people as this place has a terrible reputation because of them and property values have dropped.

Hello neighbours,

I just wanted to throw my support behind this thread because you are doing a great thing bringing this up Johnny. We are lucky enough to live on this beautiful island and wake up to an amazing view every day. We chose to live in Belize because we like Belize. If we wanted to live in a gated community in Florida, we'd live there. It is a shame that people who are lucky enough to live somewhere like this spend all their time complaining and making life difficult for their neighbours. They need to chill out and appreciate the life they have - and if they have so much time on their hands, why don't they go and do some voluntary work with one of the many great charities here. Up the Revolution ( Capt Jeff could teach them a lesson or two about living the dream for sure!)
