I've put on my travel blog a brief travelogue for a weekend trip to Belize. We came for the purpose of looking at real estate, so I spent most of my time writing about our searches.

Do you feel that the cost of your trip paid off for you? You did a good job of avoiding real estate agents, but didn't get much bang for your buck. Sometimes a good agent can save you money.

Good question. Yes, it was worth the trip. I didn't intentionally avoid agents--I just had a specific property I was focused on that was fsbo. Just about every other time I've looked, I've used an agent.
