Hi - we're planning a trip to Caye Caulker for next March or so. Would appreciate any recommendations for a small, clean cabana to rent....something with a kitchenette, and preferably within walking distance of restaurants/village. What is the typical daily rate for such a place? Also, is it possible to rent a kayak and paddle out to the reef for snorkeling, fishing, or is it too far? Any recommendations on good places around the island to snorkel, fish (just fishing for snapper, grouper, jacks, etc), dine out would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance!!! Bob

Fishing can be done off any of the local piers. Kayaks can be rented for approximately $15.00 US; you can paddle to the reef and snorkel on your own time.
