The island is looking a bit glum these days. I suppose with the War going on and it being the slow season....not to mention dear IRIS that came close enough to paying us a personal visit....it will be a while before things pick up again.

But I'm a hopeful! Here's hoping that November, December and the New Year bring on the island Season as usual!

We like the blend, hop and dance, the tourist add to this otherwise quiet island.

Hi Mermaid...

I've been reading your posts and appreciate the information you get out.

I am interested in coming to Belize - hopefully to one of the Cayes or just anywhere seaside....

Do you know of anyone who has a cabana available for the week after Christmas? Starting Dec. 26th? I don't have alot of money, but I would like to spend what I have in Belize!

That "JL" with the 'Up' and no information gets on my nerves....

But to answer your question, most places are already booked on the island for the Christmas holiday. There are a few, and I mean few (I don't know any by name:-) who don't take reservations and work only on a walk in basis...

Good luck! Bring a tent, sleeping bag or hammock just in case!
