I have some info for you, I had previosly posted Loraines Guest House as a great place to stay. We are from Alberta (my husband and I) we were on CC in October for our first vacation ever. We were there 11 days and stayed the hole time at Lorraines minus one night that we went to the Myan Mountains to see the Ruins in San Ignacio. The owners of Loraines (Martha & Orlando) are Native to the country so they have alot to tell about the area and history. We fished off of the private dock with some gear we brought with us. Caught some yellow snapper, drank beer and Coconut Rum and relaxed on the deck chairs. They have yellow modest Cabanahs on the beach, with a private bathroom(shower & toilet) Orlando will welcome you to use his fridge to keep things cool. They are like our family now. I cried when I left because they had made us feel so at home. I sure miss them. There rates are very reasonable, alot less than others. The Mud bath that you are looking for is on the mainland and can be reached at www.maruba-spa.com
it is the same one that was on last years temptation Island. So hope this helps you. There will be lots to choose from when you get there. Thats what we did. They are all in walking distance. Travel has slowed down over the past few months so there will be lots of vacancy's. Enjoy your trip!!
Becky p.s. Be sure to swim with the Sharks & Sting Rays at Shark Ray Alley, Unbelievable!
