Hello, I think from what I can tell your island is so gorgeous, Me and 3 of my girlfriends go away every year somewhere, last year it was cancun: I personally would like to stay somewhere where it's relaxed not a huge crowd, good food, lots of sun, a great place to sleep and some nightlife, I also like the feeling of waking up to a diffrent world with an easy going life, and lots of dancing, not night life dancing but cultural! Very Cool, Any help on these topics!

Caye Caulker is a great place to go if you like it beautiful & slow. If you go there you can go to Popeye's (Bar & Grill) on a weekend and enjoy some locals that play Punta Rock with the drums and a turtle shell. It is Garifuna (sp?) Cultural music. They would be glad to tell you some history on it. Also if you head south to Dangriga will see alot more of there heritage. Belize is such a mix of cultures that you will learn so much from everyone you meet. I did and enjoyed every minute of it.

Yep, this sounds like the place you are thinking about. It is relaxed and beautiful. The people are friendly and kind. I came here 2 years ago and haven't been able to tear myself away yet! LOL
