I contacted a Mayan Shaman who sent up smoke signals to Chac, the Mayan Rain God, who replied that "the weather will be what the weather will be."

When you are on an island as beautiful as this, the weather is the least of your worries (if you have any at all:-)

It is raining right now - early morning - 7:42 AM - and it is beautiful. Every drop is glistening with the late morning sun. You can sit under the roof of an outdoor cafe and watch all the colors of the flowers, the green in the palms, the houses, the people - all glisen in the rain.

And on sunny days - oh, well.........
