My wife and I stayed at one of the Caulker Cabanas and it was nice but if you stay in one of them find out where on the island it is because some of them are a little far from the center of town and you will need a bike. Iguana Reef is one of the nicer places on the island and costs a little more than some. You might want to look into Mara's, Tsunamiadventures.com has some nice places also. A lady we met there was staying at Tropical Paradise and said it was reasonable and nice.

Stayed at Chateau Giselle, it was really good clean delux rooms for a good price, particularly compared to the other two. Caye Caulker is a really special place and you will enjoy meeting the people. Wendy is a super landlady and I recommend her place highly.

We just recently arrived home from Caye Caulker, we stayed at Costa Maya. I have only nice things to say about our wonderful holiday and the hospitality of Seni the manager. The hotel is very clean and faces the beach. Coffee is provided with a coffee maker in room, there is also a small fridge for refreshments etc.
Costa Maya also houses Tsunami tours, Heather the manager of Tsunami is very helpful and can book you into what ever type of tour you might want to partake in. She also has a couple of double kayaks for rent. We rented one and took our time going around to the other side of island, great fun.
Other places that have been mentioned from readers also are probably very nice, I am sure you will not be disappointed where ever you stay. The island is small and all is in walking distance of the "town"
