I've seen the Southwind real estate page but it doesn't seem to have much on it. Is there another place to research what is available for purchase, either lots or homes, on caye caulker? We are planning a trip down to San Pedro and want to plan on seeing some caye caulker property too.

Hi Sunbird,

Pelican Point Subdivision is located on the south end of Caye Caulker. Lots are appx. 1/2 acre in size, great sunsets and quiet. For more info email us at [email protected].

San Pedro and Caye Caulker have much to offer -- each in its own way. We look forward to your visit. Hope to hear from you soon.

Liz

I have seen the land that Liz is talking about. The site has just been filled and has a canal ready for your boat. It is away from the village and is quiet. There is also some land even further from the village....but does not have any services available to it. So it is much more trouble for power etc. FWIW. I think that a good site visit and talking to the developers is very important. You need to see the business plan for the area you plan to buy. I would hate to find that after making payments for years that there was no deed or something.....make sure all land is routed through the capitol so that you have proof that you bought it. (at least that is what several people have told me).

But at the end of the day....buyer beware...check things out for yourself !

I was here when Pelican Point was a swamp and a used as a dump. It is now a cleared swamp with the dump next to it. Let the buyer beware is very important to listen to. I have no interest in this land and no issues with the Ross family . Come look for yourself before agreeing to any thing.

Pelican Point has not changed much in the last 3 to 5 years as far as I can see. They just dont seem to be moving forward very fast
