I suggest you go with Thunderbold (spelling ?) water taxi as they usually seem to be less crowded than the other one, and I have seen all kind of merchandises (including big wires) transported on that one...

thanks for your reply. is "thunderbold" one particular boat in the front bridge water taxi service or is it of another taxi service altogether? is there still a water taxi that picks up at the back bridge? i caught water taxis there to the tourist village in 2001 or '02 but i heard that sevice has been discontinued. any chance you can add some infor to your previous post?

Thunderbold is the water taxi service operating from the back bridge (the one where you have to go under the swing bridge)... Used it about 1 1/2 month ago...
