The weather channel in the US barely knows where Belize is! Even the local forecasters have a hard time accurately predicting our weather. During this time of the year our weather in the Cayes is dominated by high pressure fronts passing across the Gulf of Mexico. This typically results in NW winds that clock thru north then NE then back to East. Rain, if it comes is usually only when the winds pass thru north. When the winds pass from East it clears up. This pattern repeats depending on the fronts on a 3 to five day period.
