Hi, Just a little suggestion for accommodation in Cayo, you can try San Ignacio Resort hotel, site is www.sanignaciobelize.com or you can try Log Cabins: website address: http://www.logcabinns-belize.com. To me, these are the two premier hotels in Cayo. Then as Dan Dan suggested, visit Cayo first and then you can come and relax on the 'laid back' island of Caye Caulker. Enjoy your stay!! Cheers,

It is hard to get hotel reviews on this site unless you include your e-mail address for a private answer.Otherwise some feelings might get bent. Personally, like many others on this board- I live here and have never stayed in any of these hotels.

Black Rock is unusual and quite interesting. It is very natural with few bugs for the jungle. The rooms are on the sides of a narrow steep gorge with great tubing rides in the river at the bottom and a small waterfall right in front of the rooms. Good for jungle horse back riding too.I haven't seen the others mentioned.
