I am a single woman 60 traveling alone and fell in love with Belize from cruises. Would I be safe booking a trip to this island and staying for 7 to 10 days?????

We will be there next week and we're bringing our 13 year old son. From what I have heard so far, I will feel comfortable letting him have some freedom to go around on his own. If you have 10 days, however, you may want to visit two places in Belize. Perhaps some time in the Cayo district? Enjoy!

I'm 50, just spent a week on Caye Caulker and felt so much at ease. The folks are quite friendly and I never saw anything negative, but did see lots and lots of smiles. Enjoy!
