Hey Pam -- think it is two cartons. Local Ciggs aren't that bad -- when you see price of non-local you will learn to appreciate.

Hey Board,

My fiance and I just arrived back in New York after a 10 day stay on da Caye. Best happy hour bars are, in no order, as follows:

Da Split aka Lazy Lizard - Northern Tip of the Island. Best SUNSET.
Rasta Pasta - Best after dive spot, try the rangoons.
Sports Bar - If you can believe there is one here...
Seaside Cabanas Bar - ex-pat spot, not for backpacker's budget, but good happy hour deals.
Palapa Bar - near Raggamuffin Tours, always a good view

Oceanside and I&I are the night party places, Disco is open on Saturdays.. not as much happy hour activties at these places...

We were there last May for a week. Stayed at the Rainbow Hotel which was a modest lodging but comfortable with AC, 2 Double beds, TV and bath for $50us/nite.Cheap when you consider that 2 of us split the rent!
But more than adequate considering that we were in the room only to sleep and recover from the previous nite!
The Lazy Lizard is the place to hang and Rasta Pasta one of the good places to eat!
We did the Oceanside on Friday nite to see Dennis Wolfe of "Gringo in Belize" fame as well. This is a good place to hang out too.
We ate at the Sandbox a few times too and liked it.
