Dear all,

If I want to stay more than 30 days in Belize, I have understood that I need to apply for an extension of the VISA.

Can I do this when entering Belize at the airport or do I need to take some other action? What is the procedure and cost?

Thanks for all support in this matter!

You get 30 days at the airport, then go in every 30 to renew for 30 more. It takes about 20 mins and is painless. After 6 months you must leave for a short time, then start again.

Most people renew their visas in San Pedro. Immigration used to come to Caye Caulker once every 2 weeks, anyone know if they are still doing that?

They quit coming. If you renew in Pedro they will always require you to do so. No more city shopping when you are there anyway.
