Anybody have any news about the path of this storm? I have a trip planned to CC next week and I'm concerned about the weather. Right now I'm seeing predictions for rain all next week. But what about the possibilities of a hurricane? I'm not sure if I should risk going down if there's a possibility of getting stuck in a storm. It doesn't look like the tropical vacation I was planning is going to happen . . . Thanks for any info.

I used to check the weather in Belize on the web all the time, it seems the overstate the rain or they are talking about the hills in the mainland, it hardly ever rains all week. although it is suppose to be rainy season. The early huricanes of the season will almost always follow a path east toward Cuba and up the east coast of the States, I dont recall any early huricanes hitting Belize, The air and water temp as it changes during the season bring the huricanes in Sept and Oct closer to Belize, Dont worry about a thing. I agree with Debbie. Don't worry, be happy.

Debbie is right on. We are in the middle of a record breaking drought. If it should come you may find that summer rain here is warm and pleasant with rainbows and comfortable breezes. Few people have raincoats -we just wear our shorts. Enjoy.
